Built for UK police rotas · useful to any shift worker
Your calendar app can show you a shift. It can’t tell you how much annual leave you have left, what your TOIL balance is, or how many re-rostered rest days you’re still owed. Book’d Off counts all of it — so it stops living on a scrap of paper in your locker.

The bit nobody else does
Plenty of apps will show you when you’re working. The hard part is everything that hangs off those shifts — and it’s the part that costs you money when it’s wrong.
Entitlement, carry-over surplus, and a leave year that starts wherever yours does — calendar or tax year. Book full or half days and the balance updates itself, so you always know what’s left before you book.
Take overtime as pay or time off in lieu, allocate it against a shift, and keep a running balance instead of a note on your phone.
Record a cancelled rest day, track the re-rostered date, and reallocate it when it moves again.
Optional prompts based on England & Wales Police Regulations as you record overtime, rest day working, bank holidays and cancelled annual leave. Advisory only — but it tells you there’s something worth asking about.
Who it’s for
Book’d Off was designed around UK police shift patterns, and the Police Regulations guidance is written for England & Wales. But nothing about annual leave, TOIL, re-rostered rest days or a rotating pattern is unique to policing — if you work a rota, the rest of the app fits you exactly as well.
Features
The rota, the calendar and annual leave are free. Pro unlocks the tracking, reporting and automation on top — one purchase, no subscription.
Your data
Book’d Off has no backend. Your rota lives in a database on your phone. There is no account to create, nothing is uploaded for us to look at, and there is nothing for us to sell.
Cloud backup is optional and goes to your Google Drive — the app can only touch files it created there, on Android and iPhone alike. The privacy policy is short and specific.
Getting it
